Govt. Ayurvedic College Library Jabalpur was established in the year of 1971. Institute has it’s own library. Library has good collection of books on Ayurveda as well as Modern medicine. It has good collection of Ayurvedasamhita. Medical books, reference book, various magazines and local newspaper. Presently college library has about 8067 books. The books are classified into general textbook and reference book. Purans and other rare literature as Kumar Sambhava, Kautilya Arthshram, Raghuvansh Mahakayam etc. are also available in his library. Library has a good collection of books written by Pt. Shri Ram Sharma. Students receives inspiration by these books which optimizes ideas life in society. Book bank facility is also available for students of reserved category. Extra set of textbook is provided to the students of reserved category ( Book bank yogana ) Library has open access system. Library books are arranged in 51 Almirah.
Computerization of library is in primary stage. Library has collection of audio-visual CDs on various topics of Ayurveda and medicine. Separate sitting arrangement is made for teaching staff and students in the reading area of the library. The students get opportunity to learn and read the book away from noise of the campus in serene environs of the library. Internet facility for all the students is also available.
